Postnatal Core Exercise

After giving birth to Sam, I had 3-4 finger diastasis recti (ab muscle separation) due to the prolonged labour.

My physio friend recommended me a few core exercises which are perfectly demonstrated in the video below. It took me about two months to have my ab muscles come back together, and then almost one year to regain my flat tummy.


I find these exercises really helpful. Even now when I cannot sleep in the middle of the night, I usually do a few sets to maintain my muscle strength, because carrying a 10+kg baby running around requires strong core muscles anyway.
