In the past few months, Sam started showing some interesting sides of his personality. He is super organised and loves things in order.
For instance, if he sees our clothes hanging on the side of the bed frame, he would keep pointing at the clothes and making "enen" sound, until we put them away properly. He is very experienced at finding out unlocked child safety locks. Maybe he also wants to make sure that he is safe at home. If he sees any trash on the floor, regardless of big or small, he would pick them up. He also helps us make sure that all shoes line up properly, bins are closed, and the microwave is turned off after each use. The list goes on ...
To make it more interesting, my parents say I was exactly like that when I was young. Oh well, the power of genetic influence.
Out of curiosity, I asked Google what does this predict about the future of the child. Not surprisingly, the answer is: talents in maths. I guess Sam will get stuck with maths and analytical mindset throughout his life, just as I do.
